Hey, I’m Chelsea.

I live in Fromberg, MT overlooking the Clarks Fork Yellowstone River. We’re surrounded by cows and coyotes. Almost everyday I see Bald Eagles and each time I do, I act like its the first time I’ve ever seen one in my life.

All my best friends + fam call me Chels. Go with what you feel, but I’m going to treat you like my best friend, regardless.

…….Which means…...

During your shoot, We’re gonna laugh our asses off.

We might end up drinking the “props”.

We’re definitely going to blast your favorite music.

We’re going to have a blast.

On your big day, I’m gonna help fix your hair. I’ll make sure your makeup isn’t smudged. I’m going to talk you through your nerves & make you smile when you need it the most. I’m going to track down that bouquet you keep misplacing. I’m going to refill that mimosa for you, because I know you need it. I’m going to be there for you the same way I would be for the people in my life that I love most.

I’m your girl. It’s your big day and you deserve the best.

I like sentimental moments & flirty couples who live life unfiltered. Come as you are. Let's show it off. We are all so unique, and as a visual storyteller, I’m going to show you just how beautiful you and your love story really are.

Some things to know about me…

My jokes usually land somewhere between too far or too soon. #zerofilter

I’m for sure going to trip over something at least once when we hang out.

My hat collection is dope and you are more than welcome to borrow one.

I will 100% get down on the dance floor with you on your wedding night.

Carpool Karaoke with James Corden is my favorite thing on the internet.

I believe Rose DEFINITELY could have shared that door with Jack when the ship was going down.

I am single dog mom and I’m happy to just be doing my own thing until I cross paths with my future forever person.

I believe that true love is made of just as much hard work as it is reward and ya’ll are the ones that inspire what I hope to find in a partner one day.

Dog-lovin’ CAT PERSON, obsessed with all animals.

Outgoing introvert - Sometimes I want to hang, sometimes I want a hide.. #catperson

I believe the in-between moments are the ones worth treasuring. To me, photographs are more like heirlooms. They are what connect us to our past and future generations.

I love Montana & I live for the spring and summer. I wish I could wear Chacos year round and when it comes to building a summer campfire, the tipi method is the best method.

I am a big fan of wholesome humor and dad jokes. You can always tell it’s going to be a dad joke once it becomes apparent.

I think kindness & compassion can make the world a better place.

I love live music. Top concerts include: Nathaniel Rateliff, Dawes, Alabama Shakes, Jason Isbell, Turnpike Troubadours, RKS.

Newest obsession: Paul Cauthen.

In my day to day life I work as a graphic artist for a print shop in Billings, MT.

My dog, Jolene, is my favorite creature in the world. She is my co-pilot 99% of the time. She might be a Texas rescue but she’s purebred mountain hound now.

Getting in front of the camera can feel weird and intimidating at first, but I promise you, I’m going to make it fun. You’ll forget I even have a camera in hand.

I have a way of putting people at ease in front of the camera so that their true colors shine. It’s important to capture your personality.

The Backstory…

I was an early twenty-something (I’m 31 now…. YEEEESH) and moved to Texas for a boy in a band and began photographing their shows. The band broke up and so did we. I kept his camera and hightailed it back to the Bitterroot Mountains in Missoula, Montana to continue my education and pursue a degree in Photojournalism.

Journalism bridged the gap for me between imagery, story, and fine art photography.

It revealed to me what makes a photograph powerful:

Human Connection.
